Free Exercise

If you are wondering what a"Familize"  exercise is, download a free exercise here and try it with your group. It will make your group better because a "Familized" group is a happier group as a result of interacting better.

Most group leaders don't do anything to promote conversation and interaction amongst their members. They leave the communication up to the masses. Some individuals do well in this regard, most don't!

These procedures are not rocket science. They're not the result of brilliant thinking. But, THEY WORK IF YOU USE THEM!

I don't care if you use the examples from my book or not. There are plenty of ice-breakers and values clarification exercises around. Find your own if you want. They all will improve the people networking in your group.

What I've done is put a bunch of them together with easy-to-read instructions so you can start using them immediately. Use your own if you want but DO SOMETHING!

There are 2 exercises taken from my book here. The first one can be used with any group but is most helpful when the people at the meeting don't know each other very well (or not at all).

The second one works well with a group of people that know each other fairly well but maybe have formed cliques that you would like to break up.
