Humorous Fathers Day

Humorous fathers day cards are easy to construct if you use the Internet. Just copy and paste into your email program or print them off.

The only problem is that often, the verse isn't very funny.

Now you can add your own verse and create your own card by copying and pasting the following prose into the card you have picked (and it will be funny).

Not only that, but it is unique and fast.

If your dad has a sense of humor, try it. If you are not sure, don't use this verse. (Sometimes people want "feelings cards" on their day.)

In other words, they may not be looking for humor. They may be looking for something "mushy".

Father, by simply being [ ]bizarre [ ]obscure [ ]obstinate [ ]yourself [ ]messy [ ]a rebel [ ]mellow [ ]meticulous [ ]smelly [ ]unhinged,

you've shown me the best way to [ ]falsify documents [ ]measure belly-button lint [ ]beat the taxman [ ]serve time [ ]be humble [ ]chug beer [ ]apologize [ ]get bail [ ]siphon gas [ ]be.

By having faith in [ ]Bob Marley [ ]my dreams [ ]the ponies [ ]the god of the volcano [ ]the holy grail [ ]lucky number seven [ ]the jet stream [ ]me [ ]The Witches Of Eastwick [ ]the Yankees [ ]Zoroastrianism,

you've made me proud to be [ ]who I am [ ]celibate [ ]vegetarian [ ]illiterate [ ]a redneck [ ]biased [ ]plastered [ ]bi-polar [ ]a recluse [ ]your son [ ]your daughter [ ]telepathic [ ]dormant.

Happy Father's Day

How To Transfer The Verse From This Humorous Fathers Day Card Into Your Greeting Card

(These directions are for PC users but will generally be the same for all types of computers and programs.)

Find a card that appeals to you visually on one of the many sites that offer greeting cards on the Internet. (Some suggested sites are listed below.)

Make sure you can edit words in the card. (Don't pick an "animated" one. They usually can't be altered.)

Delete the verse from the card and then return to this page and highlight the verse (above).

Right-click on the highlighted text and click "copy".

Return to the card and place the cursor where you want the verse to appear and click "paste". The text (from above) will then be transferred into your card.

Put a CAPITAL "X" in the brackets beside the words or phrases you want to use in your message.

Add your name and your friend's name.

Then send it or print the Humorous Fathers Day card off.
